New Series Has Begun!

I’ve been working on Cold Reset for like 10 years. And even though most of it has been taken offline and scrapped, and a remake of the vast majority is underway, I still think it’s time to switch things up.

I’m not bored with Cold Reset. It’s just a bit tedious being stuck at Chapter 7 while I retread old story beats. Especially since I’ve been working on it less so that time only extends more and more.

I’ve spent the last few days just writing.

It’s for another comic idea I’ve had in the ol’ noggin for almost as long as CR. It’s called Circus, and it’s been worked and reworked and worked again at various points in my life. But I’ve never really drawn anything for it.

Until today!

I’ve managed to do 4 whole pages today. A new record for me, but the style I’ve chosen to work in seems to be great for quick workflow.

I’m excited about this one folk(s). I’m gonna pop up the prologue and first chapter as soon as it’s done, just to have some neat shiny new content to show off.

So what’s it all about?

Well, I’ll cover that in a future post, but all I will say for now is that it takes place almost directly after Cold Reset (the ending of which is a looooong way off), so SPOILERS (it doesn’t really matter though), and it stars many of the main characters from Cold Reset, plus some new ones here and there.

It’s more a continuation of the overarching “Meridian Six” story than it is a sequel. But yeah, more on that another time.
