July Plans for Y’all.

So the remaster of Chapter 1 is finished and fully uploaded! Over the next week or two, there’ll be a few bonus posts around the place, and I should hopefully have a nice buffer for Chapter 2 in a few weeks. Fingers crossed. But you know me…

July’s gonna be interesting. For me. I have a few cool side things planned that will of course take away from Chapter 2’s progress, but hopefully it’ll open a few doors for me. More on that when it’s underway.

What’s new?

TV.

The Expanse season 3 just finished and they managed to actually wrap up the whole of book 3 in 7 episodes. Hot damn! They made some changes from the book but all in all, it was really fuckin’ good. It means that Season 4 can jump straight into the Ilus stuff and more Miller! Wooo!

Also been really enjoying the final season of 12 Monkeys. Fuck me, that one episode was amazing, where Jennifer sings a Pink song in front of Hitler and a bunch of Nazis. Words don’t justify it, so here is the video:

I’ll let it speak for itself.

I’m about 4 episodes behind on the season though, but gradually making my way through. It’s so good, and so sad that it’s the final season. But I can see myself rewatching it a lot in the years to come. Quality shit. Also I’ve had a huge crush on Jennifer Goines for like 3 years.

And I wrapped up watching season 2 of Luke Cage too. That was pretty good. It felt a little messy, story-wise, but there were less dull moments than I remember there being in season 1. It just makes me hyped for Daredevil 3. And I guess, Iron Fist 2, seeing as they canned the previous showrunner, and the Heroes for Hire stuff was STRONGLY foreshadowed in LC2. I want a Defenders 2 though.

I’ve watched a lot of stuff lately, it’s not like me. Workin’ through that long list.

GAMES.

Yes, GAMES.

I’ve played through Beyond Good & Evil fully for the first time ever, after seeing that amazing E3 trailer for the sequel. Really neat little game, and I see it totally inspiring some future comic stuff of mine. It’s a very similar vibe I think.

I bought a bunch of cheap PS3 games that I never had the chance to play, like Dishonored and Far Cry 3, so I’ll be working through them at some point I think. At the moment though, I’m replaying Assassin’s Creed 2 for the millionth time, but it’s the Ezio Collection version. Can never have too many trophies.
