A new post here is long overdue but the only reason I’m writing this right now is so I can put this incredible fucking song as my SOTD at the end of the post.

New Wilderun! I’m so happy. It’s so good. And there’s a full album to come too. One of those bands that just makes things better, whenever they need to be.

Anyway. The post:

COMICS.

It’s true, progress has slowed down. I did too much too fast, but god damn, I got so much work done in those few months. It’s all up online too! The first half of Cold Reset: Disturbance!

And, really, I only have 5 pages left of the chapter to finish. So close, yet so far. But I’ll be having less free time to do it now…

And I’ve gone part time in work now…

UNI.

I’m back in Uni. Just had my first day of it today. Meeting the peeps, finding out the biznis. It’s a Master’s and it’ll give me a chunk of diverse stuff to pop in my portfolio. That’s all that matters. I’ll post some cheeky updates and maybe some of my project work as time goes on.

COMICS, PART DEUX.

But that’s not to say that the comics will stop. I still want to keep it up. But I’ll have to use my little feelers to probe around first, see what kind of workload I’ll be dealing with. There’ll be part time work, part time study, band stuff, and language stuff (I’m learning Swedish at the moment – I don’t think I’ve mentioned that here yet. I’m about 5 months and 40 lessons in!)

BAND.

My band has its second gig coming up in 2 days. We’re playing a little freshers fair in town. It’s nothing big, our set is all covers, no originals, but still, a gig is a gig. is a gig. is a gig.

MOVIES & TV.

I watched a lot since the last post. Highlights were It Chapter 2, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Detective Pikachu. I also started watching Star Trek Discovery. They dropped a couple F-bombs in one episode and it took me by surprise. But I’m enjoying the show! Maybe it’s my gateway into the other series’. Who knows?

(Probably not, Enterprise was a grind. I gave up.)

I’ve been writing a bit again lately. I have this new idea for yet another little spin-off comic. This one’s a standalone though, and relatively short. I might start working on it soon, I’m pretty excited about it!
